If I need 120VAC to run an air-conditioner, will I generate less heat from an inverter powered by 24VDC?
Are 24VDC to 120VAC inverters more expensive than 12V to 120VAC inverters?
I don't need a pure sine wave inverter just to run an air-conditioner, do I?
I'm already thinking the inverter for the A/C is going to need to be fan cooled and vented to the outside, so that the inverter is not heating up the inside as fast as the A/C is cooling it off...
