255/85-16 possible on a E350?

I am due in for tires on my 2002 E350 EB 7.3. I am on stock rims but am looking to go tall after getting hung up in some sand whoops. I have air bags in the rear and would install the 1.5" Maxx Lift coil spacer blocks if needed. Trimming the fender and pinch weld is an option. I am looking at the ST Maxx coopers in 255/85-16. Anyone tried this size on a stock'ish e350 yet?

Cooper spec sheet lists them at 32.8" OD (about the same as a 285/75-16 but 1.5" narrower)

With fender trimming I'm sure they'd fit. I'm running 245/75R16 with space to spare on a Stock height E350. They're about 29.5" and 31" would likely still clear.

Guys are running 35/37s on Quigleys with trimming... So why not 33s with a bit less lift. Height won't be the issue... The back edge of the fender is where you'll run into trouble if at all.

Just my thoughts... Anyone done it?
