Any one running them on 05+ frontiers? If so how much lift and what wheels are you running? I am getting some 16" nismo wheels to put on my LE and am now thinking about what size tries to run.

Not a Frontier but an Xterra. I have the Rancho Quicklift in front and some Calmini shackles in rear. That's it. The tires are narrow enough I don't think you'll have rub, but if so you might have to do the melt mod. Basically take a heat gun and work some of the plastic wheel well in a bit. I'm running the stock rims.

This is probably the best tire shot I have.

08 Frontier with 255/85-16 BFG KM2s. I have a 2" PRG economy lift (spacer and AAL). No fender well rubbing.

Another Xterra owner chiming in. I'm running 285/75-16s BFG AT KOs on my X and only had to do the melt mod to make it work. To put it in perspective, your 255/85-16 tires should have a diameter of 33.1". Mine have a diameter of 32.8". I believe yours will be a bit skinnier which should help as the only rubbing I've got now is some minor frame rubbing at full lock.

Try this link for calculating size differences: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

I know this is getting picky requesting info, but I want to run the Old Man Emu kit and 255s but I don't think the 1.5" OME is going to be enough to clear the 255s. Maybe use 2"spacers in the front and OME springs in the back. But just looking for others with experience with a similar set up. Thanks for the help!

I thought OME lift give 2" of lift in the front.

I dunno why it wouldn't work unless there's something tricky there. If the tires will fit without a lift they should fit with the lift, no?

I figured it should work with 2" but I just don't see very many with this set up on Nissans. (Seen lots of Tacomas)Thanks.

You are correct Mike.

A short while ago, I had Wil at Sierra Expeditions quote me on a full OME suspension package, it advertises 2" of lift all the way around.

its more like 1,5" in the front and 2" in the rear...
i measured that on my friends truck.
my setup is OME HD springs+ 2" spacers on the front and OME springs on the rear.
it sits level without the topper+rtt... with them it sags a little approx. 0,5"

2010 Equator FATTER!

I got a 2010 Suzuki Equator 4x4 quad cab sport.

About to install Rancho Loaded Quick lifts, Rear Deaver 2-leaf mini packs and Rancho rear shocks.

I want my truck to look FAT.
Stock 17" wheels might have to go.

Would rather have 31 or 32 x 12's instead of 33 x 11's

ANYONE tried this or know what tire sizes convert?
If I change mags I will probably go to an 18 or 20".

Thanks!
William
