40 psi is 40 psi right? A 4000 lb truck with 40 psi in the tires will have 100 square inches of contact no matter the width of the tread. The 235 will be narrower and longer, the 265 will be wider and shorter but both will be 100 square inches at 40 pounds per square inch. Or, 25 square inches per tire.

The 235 won't be longer, as it's the same height as the 265 but stioc is correct t, in practice its likely not a huge factor (~%13), it isn't trivial either

An extreme example is a pickup with a snow plow, have you ever seen a dually with a plow? Not a professional. You have way more contact patch and thus less pressure and traction to push the snow. They also usually run skinny tires.

I wish I was getting an ARB compressor but locker for me, yet
