270° awning on truck shell, roof tracks only? no crossbar

I'm trying to see if you can mount an awning directly to the roof tracks. I don't have a need for cross bars so I'm trying to see whats the basic needed to mount an awning.

Another thing you want to keep in mind with any awning, besides the stuctural considerations mounting to your rig, is that once deployed, it is fair game to any gust of wind. So what, at 1st glance, seems over built, may in actuality be barely adequate. Respectfully consider an awning like a sail, on a sail boat and you can appreciate the forces involved.
