270 degree awning on van build

I got the 2.95m L with additional triangle to make it a square back when I want. My pictures show both modes. I rarely tie it down or use poles but in the case of these pictures it was either really windy or realy windy, rainy and I had the triagle on (requires at least one pole with the triangle)

Pictures of the mounts please. Did you use more than 2 mounts?

They lowered the awning about 4" closer to the roof than what the mounting brackets that came with it did.
I figured that two would work but the way the cross bars are configured it left almost half the awing stick out front and I figured it would vibrate or flap while I was driving, so I bodged up a third bracket at for the front cross bar.
I am considering moving the whole awning and crossbars forward about 6" to cover more of the side door.

No issues with rear door clearance?

No issues with door clearance side or rear.
The Foxwing awning pretty well sit horizontal when deployed.

What is the height of the mounting surface on the back of the awning? 6-8 inches? I'm attempting to fab my gutter mount brackets to fit the GM gutters.

6 3/4". On the Foxwing the bolt grooves are 4" oc.
