2nd Gen Dodge to sell?

I have been looking at 1st gen trucks too. I drove one the other night that could hardly stay on the road despite the "new" steering box and Borgeson shaft. I don't know what the problem was, but I think the guy wanted too much money anyhow. As for projects, I need something reliable right away. I can deal with body issues at my leisure, but I need a good runner. Any thing I buy in the US has to pass an inspection in order for me to register it here. Every day that goes by, the budget gets smaller as bills come in. Fun, fun, fun! I guess thats the payback for taking 6 months off and just going where-ever we felt like!:sombrero: I will keep searching, but I gotta get something this weekend or early in the week ahead. Not the best way to buy, I know... I'm going to try to hold out for the right truck.

Too much, too far seems to be the story of my updated search. Then the on budget cherry diesel I found close to home was lent to the owners buddy to move. Whilst moving he blew the tranny...:costumed-smiley-007 So, I decided that the mosquito fogging 71 GMC had to go and I bought this as a temporary rig... It is a 94 with 318 and NV4500. It was almost free to boot! I will look for a diesel as time passes and use this for work etc for the summer. As I add stuff I may start a new thread called "The Holy Cr@p It's Red Mod Thread"...( apologies to crawler#976 )
