Do you want res shocks (those require mods) or just a drop in set of foxes. if it is just a regular drop in set. Just call Mike over at Accutune Offroad (424) 377-0808 and tell him you want a set of fox shocks for 92-00 Montero. He will ask you to get your truck loaded up and weighed (truck weigh station) to get the axle splits and what sort of driving you do and then valve a set to those specs.

Non res shocks are more than good enough for me. Thanks!

Finally got around to finishing up the front shocks mounted and installed with the help of Killer Off-Road in Simi Valley - They designed and mfg'd a new weld on shock mount top.

Nice! Was going with Fox shocks and the custom mount much cheaper than going with the King 2.0 remote setup that Filthy Motorsports offers for stock mounts?

The vendor that did them for me, Accutune also included a custom valving specific to my driving style / use and truck mods. I have been working with them on this project for about 10 months, so far there are drop in (no mods) Fox 2.0 that are tuned to Gen 2 LWB trucks (non reservoir) they were tested in a KOH photo truck. There are also reservoir and reservoir + adjuster models that require the tower modification. There is now fitment for 1/2 Gen trucks. Gen 3 trucks are running king 2.5s. Until someone makes a strut top to get Fox 2.5 Coil overs to work.

They also sell Kings and include the tune with purchase. I think the fully loaded adjustable Kings are like 3300 based on the pricing I got from Poly Performance, and they need to be re-tuned as they are setup for SWB truck. So while Filthy and Poly offer a tiny discount on them that gets eaten away by the re-valving costs. Accutune includes that in the higher end shocks they sell.
Mine ended up being 1800 with tax and shipping and you can get a longer rear shock if needed with out paying 300+ that option on the kings. Most fab shops told me the mod to the front shocks would run 200-350. In the rear I plan on using limiter straps so that will cost me another 350 or so installed . Figure all in is 2400 with limiters in the rear and adjustable clevises. I still saved almost 1000 or so over King and got a more customized setup.

Also the king only offers Mid compression (optional) adjustment and the fox offers low speed adjustment.

Has anyone here had to make any adjustments to mount the Fox shocks to the front? I just received mine (non res) from AccuTune and I had to dremel down the bushing for the lower mount to fit on the front. Accutune suggested my brackets are bent from the KYBs I had on there (which just dropped in, as I expected the Fox setup to do.)
No idea if I'm alone in this or what.
