33x12.5 on 16x8 rim?

Quick question can I run 33x12.5 tires on a 16x8 rim with even wear? Also is there a wider version of the 265/75R16 tire? (maybe 11.5 or 12.5)

I ran 33x12.5 on the stock 17 inch rims with nothing but good results on my '01 Ram. Or try 285/75/16s which will net around a 33" tire with an 11.5" width depending on what brand they are.

Yes. You could also look at 295/75/16. There are not as many brands available but they are about a true 33" tall x 11.50-12" wide

I run 33x12.5's on a 7 inch. Adjusted the tire pressure and so far wearing fine.They were not able to get the rim weights on it (mag) so they balanced them static with stick on weights inside the wheel but rides fine at 70mph. slight wheel wiggle at about 50mph but 2 mph either side of that nothing. 8psi on the trail and not rolled a bead. Now it is on a 86 4runner so dealing with about half the weight. :ylsmoke:
