35" vs 37" Tires

For load index? 35’s are available with a load index 129. Its what we run with our heavy SRW superduty, the 285/75r18. I stick to Toyo, and just replaced our Toyo AT2’s that had near 50k on them with a fresh set of AT3’s
Sure, but now the problem is readily finding 18" rims with Fuso/Isuzu centres that are reversible for front and rear axles. At least with 17", there is two Aussie companies supplying certified rims.

We have our AAV 17x9 rims on order so we are locked in on the 17" rim. I don't even know if the offer 16" rims anymore as that wasn't an option when we ordered.

It's looking like 35's are going to be the starting point for us, we are just going to have to be weight conscious for the rest of the build. I feel like it'll be much easier to move up to 37's if we run into weight, clearance, cruising speed issues in the future than to downsize to if we put on 37's and are immediately struggling to go 25mph up to the mountain.

@aschafer14 A quick Google found some 35's with a 128 load rating, but none of them I would have thought would tolerate running all day every day under a rig weighing 5000+kg - though I would like to be proven wrong.
