4Runner Interchangable Tire Spares

Need a little guidance.

I have a travel trailer. It has exactly the same size tires/rims 265/75R16 as my '98 4runner. It has black procomp rims. Unfortunately, while they have the same lug pattern 6 bolt 5.5, they don't fit on my truck. The lugs have a different thread pattern and there just isn't enough room to screw them on.

The truck still has the stock 16" rims. What do I need to purchase so that I can use my truck's tires on the travel trailer?

ps- is anyone able to store a 265/75/16 under the truck in the spare tire location? Did you need to do anything to accommodate?

Thanks in advance!

If the thread is different but the pattern is the same, you may be able to replace the studs in the trailer hubs and match them to your 4Runner.

Assuming both wheels use the same lug seat, all of the trailer & 4Runner lug nuts would then use the same thread, but it's still possible they would use different length lug nuts.
