4WD Indicator Module

Hi all been working on Gen 2.5 montero. Had the dash off, when I cranked the car heard a pop sound. Then noticed the 4WD indicators don't come on anymore, figured something's wrong in the white box under the stereo. Took it out and saw one of the transistors top had blown(see pic below).

Want to try to replace the blown transistor instead of buying the whole box. I put in the alphabet and number combination(inscribed on trans) to find the transistor but no luck. Can someone help with, what kind of transistor do i need?

Also any idea what could have blown the transistor?
And I'm guessing my 4WD will still be functional, as this is just an indicator?

Thanks.

If you can't fix it let me know, if the weather warms a bit this week I plan to grap a few parts from the salvage yard.

Can you photo a close-up of the transistor and the numbers printed on it?

The number on the transistor is d115396. On the board is say's TR3, I'm guessing it means Transistor # 3. Any idea where i can get something with similar specs?

most likely this is a D1153 Silicon NPN Darlington Transistor. Should be able to find one on google, ebay etc...

Hello all just put in a new module and still no 4WD indicator lights. I believe when you first turn on the car they should come on for couple of seconds and go away just like all the other indicators. But that doesn't happen on mine.

I do not believe the bulbs are out because they were working when I took the dash out and after putting the dash back no indicator light. Would be quiet a coincidence for all of them to go out together?

Is there some ground wire i need to check? I have the SRS and ABS lights on, can it have something to do with this? Please help this is driving me nuts.
