Bus 4x4 is an Australian 4x4 conversion specialist and a 4WD bus builder supplying 4x4 people movers to the mining and off-road tourism industry in Australia. We do 4x4 conversions on Toyota Hiace (Van and Commuter buses) and Coaster buses. We also build bus bodies on Iveco Daily. We export our 4x4 kits across the world with distributors in PNG, UAE, Europe, Namibia, Japan. We have also supplied our 4x4 kits to countries close to the USA like Dominican Republic and Africa.

Toyota Coaster buses are an unknown vehicle in the US and I am interested to hear from people in the USA on what they think. Our 4x4 conversions on the Hiace and Coaster are Full Time with High & Low Range used daily across the harshest Australian mining sites and outback. We also offer conversions on Toyota Landcruiser 79 Series and the Troop Carrier.

Very Interesting Looking Vehicles! Especially the smaller Toyota models.

But the first question I’d have is, are you seriously thinking of importing any of these soon into the US or Canada?
If so, then what are your plans for making them register-able here, meeting the strict US vehicle safety and emissions regulations?

After we know those answers, further discussions would be much easier to frame.

I do have to admit that we often see pictures of really nicely designed, good looking camping vehicles found in Australia that we can only dream about having over here in the US, sigh ☹️

cheers?

Not really, we will have to wait until Toyota launches them. Until then all we can do from across the seas is to post pictures :)
