It's official, the Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 is coming to the US. The 4x4 Sprinter comes with a 3-4" lift, low range and is available in the spring of 2015. The 2wd Sprinter is also getting a new 2.1 Turbo Diesel which will increases fuel economy over the 3.0 turbo Diesel. The 4x4 will only be offered with the 3.0 Blutec. The best part is the 4wd system only adds 265 lbs to the curb weight. I am serious need of a replacement for my 2009 Jetta Sportwagen now that I have 4 kids and I think this fits the bill.
