5-pin bulkhead or panel mount plug source

I have a Cobra WX75ST CB with a remote connector box which has a 5-pin mic plug (as seen in the attached image). I want to mount a bulkhead or panel mount plug into a plate on my dash (with a cover if available). So I'm looking for a bulkhead plug to replace the plug in the image.

I've searched the internets for plugs, but am turning up with nothing.

Anyone have any leads? Thanks.

Pretty much any radio shop should have it, I think Radios shack even has them.
A quick google search of "5 pin mic connector" turned up
http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/parts/micconn.html

and many more.

Thanks for the reply Gary,

Those sites show male plugs. I found plenty of those. I'm looking for a female 5-pin panel mount plug. These seem to be rare as hens teeth.

I went to my nearby Radio Shack, but the sales kid hadn't a clue what I was talking about. Also went down to the local Ham Radio Outlet. They weren't much help either.

Maybe I will have to fab something up myself.

I'ce looked into the same thing, my Waytek wire catalog has 2 potential receptacles that look like they may work, although I haven't tried either. Look up Waytek p/n 38543 or 38597.

From the photo, I assumed you need at mate to what you had in the photo.
If all else fails change the plug on the cable you have now to match the 5 pin female connector you can get.
or if you dont want to change what you have make a jump with the correct connectors on it.

Gary:
I think I'm going to have to do as you mentioned. Switch out the plugs. Seems as though there are plenty of male 5-pin panel mount plugs out there. Should have just done this in the first place.

MotoDave:
Good site and nice product. Bookmarked for future reference. I like the dust cap (P/N 38564) especially since most of my trips are in the dusty desert areas.

Well, I found a good thread on this type of install. Exactly what I'm going to do.

Martin,

Amatuer Electronic Supply has the part listed in their print catalog that I believe you are looking for listed in their "micorophone audio & DIn connectors" section as a "Vanco CBC-5 5-pin female microphone plug."
