Be careful with the manual gearboxes,they are soft as cheese and sloppy as hell,so ideally you would want to actually drive it first giving it a good run through all the gears before you buy it. They tend to get that way from doing a lot of towing.
You'll need th interior trim too,on the manual the transfer lever and gearstick are on opposite sides to the auto,and then even small things like the ashtray are different. You'll need all the gear to operate the clutch too. The parts from the 2.5 will fit the 2 in most cases,my engine came out of a 2.5 and bolted straight in,though if you do put a diesel into it,get a pre 96 one because after then they got a different pump which isn't as reliable,but it can be converted to a mechanical injector pump like I did
