6’ Flippac for midsize truck. Currently on 2nd Gen Tacoma Long Bed. Asking $5k.
Details:
- SLO Sail Rain Fly, just re-sealed all seams and re-treated with DWR
- Stock interior light in front left corner, LED light strips added on right side and above front window
- No holes in canvas, window zippers all operational. A few tiny holes in a few window screens, all smaller than a pinky finger end
- Canvas tent just treated with DWR.
- comes with spare Sway-a-way torsion bar
- hinge edges have been silicone sealed (on top of factory rubber “bushings”) to prevent any water intrusion and avoid rust
- includes factory hood pins to attach poles to hood when opened
- glass windows intact and all (both side and front) slide open.
- comes with OEM crank to open. Also have extendable DIY pole if future owner prefers to use that, which stashes in the hammock pole holder.
- currently using Exped Megamat Duo mattress that may be included in sale, dependent on price.
- have hardware to change hood support poles to quick-disconnect hardware so they can be removed from the topper, if desired.
The Bad:
- Fiberglass has a few exterior cracks from prior owner (at the common flippac areas where the seams are). They were sealed but the sealant was aging so we stripped and re-sealed with Geocel Pro Flex. Unfortunately all I could get at the time was clear, so it shows the dirt. Can arrange to re-seal with white for buyer. (See pics)
- rear left corner was dropped by prior owner. Fiberglass was cracked but re-sealed. I stripped, dried out the wood behind, and resealed with Geocel Pro Flex. Have had no issues or water intrusion, but could easily be patched with fiberglass by future owner or a boat repair shop.
- Side window screens were cut out by prior owner, could easily be replaced if needed.
Have more pics of interior and sealed cracks, please PM for more.
Located in Pagosa Springs, CO. Can help if transfer/install if picked up here. Also willing to meet somewhere in the middle, but will need to have enough people to lift and move it between trucks.
