80 center console replacement / upgrade

Has anyone replaced the center console of their 80 with an aftermarket unit like Tuffy etc? I would like more storage and something that can secure valuables but have not found a direct bolt in application. Ideas and/or pictures?

Sounds like a project for wagongear! I have researched this as well and have only came up with the tuffy console that you mentioned but as you know its not a direct fit and doesn't look as clean as it could. Good luck searching.

I put a Tuffy 8 inch console in mine. Yea its not direct bolt in but its pretty stout. The grey color matches my interior perfectly as well. I like having the lockable unit.

The Smittybilt is less than half the price of the Tuffy and seems to work pretty well. Not 100% bolt in, but looks pretty simple.
