I recently went through the same process because I added a aux 45 gallon fuel tank. I ended up with the ARB dual swing a way and couldn't be happier. My partner Paul May at Equipt was so impressed that his is going on today! No mods needed to fit with aux tank.
The cool thing is that my wife loves it and doesn't hesitate to dive into the back to grab something out of the fridge. It is pretty effortless.

How about a few pics of the ARB?

Iron Pig Off Road offers an outstanding rear bumper

The 80-Series photo on their site looks really awkward with the separately-mounted stock receiver hitch below the bumper. It's gotta kill departure angles. Is that normal? Can't the receiver tube be integrated into the bumper?

No it's not normal; the owner wanted to keep it. Where the 4 bolts above the hitch is where the mount normally sits.

Ever looked at bumpitoffroad? We have a group buy going for the 100 series and I would gladly set one up for the 80 series members as well. Mike @ Bumpit is easy to work with and listens to all feedback

bumpitoffroad.com, check it out!

I have the 4x4Labs rear bumper and love it. But, I have BIO front tube bumper, sliders, and crossmember/transfer case skid combo. Mike's craftsmenship is 2nd to none and he is great to work with and best of all, his prices are lower than anybody's. Definitely consider Bump It Offroad!

www.heftyfaborks.com tried to introduce a bumper concept that I thought was great, they have since discontinued the item for further development (I think it was more of price point). It replaced only the rear corners leaving the original cross member exposed. It was available with/or without swing outs. The swing outs were customizable as well. I would think that without the added material covering the existing cross member it would easily shave 20-30lbs off competing rear bumpers. I was seriously considering this until it was discontinued, but if you contacted them they might be able to help you out. There is a lot of information on these bumpers on ih8mud. Good luck! I am interested in seeing what you come up with.

Thanks for the info! I had almost ruled the bumper out based on that alone on my own truck. How much of a mod was needed? Was it the 45gallon Aux tank?

The cruiserhead I was helping fit the Long Ranger tank decided to not use it after all but Luke at 4x4 Labs have done them for others. Here a LINK to some install info on one that Luke made for Skillet over on MUD
