What vehicle was this made for? Doesnt look like it fits the 1st gen tundra flawlessly

I'm pretty sure it was made for a full sized domestic truck, f-150, Dakota, gmc/chevy,...ect with a "short bed". Any bed that has a 76-77" inside length should fit this camper well.
