After much debate and agonizing, I am selling this awesome Suburban. The miles seem true as the truck is in spectacular condition, an estate sale from Montana, truck from GMC/MB dealer in Wyoming. We removed all the exterior trim and did a proper paint job- no bondo anywhere!! The only rust discovered was a very tiny bit on the bottom of the lip on the rocker(not even in need of fixing) and two quarter sized spots -one on each inner fender, both patched and treated. New 255/85-16 KM2s fitted, stock original suspension other than replacement shocks- sits level, no rubbing from tires, and rides great. Mechanicly gone through with a fresh tune up- plugs, wires, fluids changed, front end aligned, fresh brakes, new chrome nonrestrictive air cleaner, headers, full true dual exhaust which is quiet with a hint of rumble under full throttle- all in the interest of fuel economy and simple power enhancement. Please note that in '83 this truck was exempt from cats d/t GVW, so no registration issues at all. Also, I added the rear hitch as none appeared to ever have been installed. The driver seat has a few tears mostly from age, the dash a very few minor corner cracks at the speaker grill(replacement or cover readily available). The next items on the agenda were replacement seats which I have secured- late model leather power/heated with armrest. Then stereo, rear camera, etc- none of which have been done or purchased. Everything works, even the rear power window- has manual windows and power locks, ps, ice cold a/c. This is a dream platform for an expedition rig as it is the 'right truck' and no computers of any kind, simple small block Chevy 350 that runs smooth as glass, and 700R overdrive automatic that shifts flawlessly.
As some of you know I am soon to have some impending extensive back sx, and the 'fleet' is being sold. I have decided to keep the PW as our family Expo vehicle as it complete and ready to enjoy- and I love it :wings:
Pics are forthcoming, as is it's listing on Ebay. See our website for some pics of past trucks under the sold section for an idea of typical quality. Thanks for looking, truck is ready to be driven anywhere with parts available everywhere. Asking $9.9k for Expo crowd. Cheers, Dale

any body interested- great truck, no electronics, straight axle front, end of an era- well up through '91, and 3/4 ton to boot!!

Is there an easy diesel option for this truck...something that mates to the transmission?

Just curios
