For sale or possibly trade, 1984 Jeep Scrambler. Located in Fenton, MI. Only known problems - Speedo and Odo are not hooked up. Very slow trans fluid leak from front of TC. Computer needs to be mounted up high under dash. While the gas tank is fine, I'd put a larger one in if I was to keep it.

I think that covers the posting requirements, so onto the good stuff!

Fuel injected high output Ford 302 V8, Ford 9" rear axle, and Ford Dana 44 front axle. built Ford AOD automatic transmission, rebuilt within 1000 miles, attached to a NP208 transfer case.

It is currently sitting on near new 35" BFG MT, with a room to go to 37" tires if you wish. Lift is a Rubicon Express YJ leaf, 3" plus spring over, with Bilstein shocks. (I need to verify the lift height) Includes a new, full size Mastercraft MT spare.

Custom parts include a frame tied cage with attached suspension seats and 4/5 point harnesses. Modified TDK skid plate. Spare tire rack for original roll bar. Sliders with integrated steps.

Its a dark charcoal grey exterior paint, bedlined interior floor and bed. Still has original roll bar, in addition to cage, both are powder coated. Dash is original pale blue and matches seats. Rear corners are protected by powder coated black covers. Has custom front and rear bumpers. Front has a light hoop, and is ready for winch plate and winch. I have lots of other misc detail parts that can go along with it.

It includes the original half hard top (black) with full doors that match exterior, plus a new FULL soft top with soft doors, and a bikini top. Currently has a TJ windjammer rear window as well.

There is some rust in the wheel wells, notably in the rear, and in front of the doors. Frame is in very nice shape, with reinforcement in the typical CJ rear area. Bed was repaired with 1/4" sheet, heavy-duty cross members, and then bedlined.

I was very much into offroading for a while, and this was my dream vehicle. Things change and my interests take me in a different direction. I know I'll never get my full "investment" out of it, but I am looking for a fair trade or sale. My trade interests are pretty diverse, and I would be willing to add cash for the right deal. Cash offers of $11,000 will be accepted, or trade value of $13,000.

I would like to trade for a Jeep TJ 4.0 manual or automatic close to stock for my wife, a three person waverunner/jetski/personal watercraft of no more than 4 years old, a convertible coupe (let me know what you got), an I/O or jet boat, open bow ~20', a couple touring sleds no more than 4 years of age, a Toyota Sequoia no more than 3 years of age, or potentially anything else of comparable value (land included). I am not interested in things like stereo equipment, sporting goods, family sedans, pickup trucks, or campers.

A couple other details that I forgot to add ...

Solid HiSteer kit including knuckles, hubs, brakes, and steering armatures. Superior shafts in the front.
