Good rant/flame... But your facts are baseless....because those vans cannot legally be imported. You could buy a nissan skyline R34 in Canada...but you could not bring it across the border to sell...except in pieces. I have owned many cars and an equal amount of vans. I do not buy and sell things for profit. I have over 16,000$ USD into this delica.

It is in California and ready to drive to the tip of Baja tomorrow. Thank you for your "interest"

Not a rant or flame. Its just my opinion based on lots of research. Nobody said anything about Nissan Skylines or bringing cars to sell. You are offering this for sale. Why would someone pay 15 grand when they can pay 6. ANY car over 25 years old can be imported. So all those examples will be eligible for import in the next few months. If you want me to find 3 88s just to make my point I can. You did some routine maintenance on a mildly used Delica and want 15 grand you should expect feedback when you post something for sale. Its not like you rebuilt the motor with new pistons and rings and decked and honed the block and arp head studs and all that. Not sure how you spent 16,000 but hey thats on you and as you mentioned you're an expert :) Good luck with your sale and ill post pics of mine thats on its way to Detroit in February. For 3.5 times less and imported from Europe and LHD. I can see how you might feel I'm negatively posting on your thread however its not. Its constructive discussion. If your product is worth what you are asking you wouldnt respond to my specfic questions with hyperbole.
Good luck.

Here is the import laws so you actually know what you are talking about. For Eurpoean cars its very similar. If its older than 25 years old its okay from anywhere and that is for personal or commercial purposes. So someone can go to Canada and get a car older than 25 years old and drive it through customs for 2.5%. If its less than $400 and its your only car that year its FREE. So how you paid 16,000 not sure.

Is a Nissan Skyline r34 25 year old or was that just hyperbole.
GTS & GTR(RHD) a.k.a. "Skyline" manufactured 1/96-6/98 R33 are eligible for import and they are not 25 years old. So check your facts. If its 25 years old its coming to the USA no problems. If its not older than 25 years old it can be on the exempt list. So if a r34 isn't on the list or 25 years old then no you can't import it. How thats relevant to you asking 15 grand for this Delica I dont know.
