9-15-07 AZ: CSC Trail Cleanup

Feeling the overwhelming need to redeem myself after my last post elsewhere on this board, I've decided to extend this invitation to all takers here as well.

Copper State Cruisers is planning a "Trail" Cleanup for Saturday September 15th at Fossil Springs near Strawberry, Arizona.

At this very moment most of the details are still being worked out. We will be holding a raffle for all participants on Saturday evening in our "Base" camp location. We will be joined by the Toyota Trail Team and reps from the USFS.

If you are interested in joining us please post up so that we can get a proper head count for Saturday's lunch.

Yea, you're gonna catch some flak about that last post d00d.

I don't know what I am doing that weekend....might be up for some clean-up. Not sure....considering a moto trip, maybe the Grand Canyon...elsewhere...????

So I started feeling all bad and actually edited my post (yeah that's right, me of all people, editing myself. ****** is this world coming to?).

Moto up to Fossil Springs and hang out for the day and night. I'll be firing up my world famous Cracker Cakes on Sunday morning.

Thanks a ton for organizing such an awesome event for the Copper State Cruisers. You did a fantastic job getting the Forest Service out there to help clean up and haul trash, and getting the FJ Trail Team to help and cook massive amounts of food! And a super raffle once again!!!

This is a really great group of folks who love to enjoy off-highway travel in a super responsible way, and give back to the club with these great trail clean ups. It was so cool to see lots of little kids out there with trash bags and picker-upper things. They added a lot to the clean up.

And an amazing group effort in the resuce. Everyone jumped right in to help out and assist. From start to finish, everyone was there.

Look forward to another great clean up--maybe this time with a little less drama :shakin:
