Thanks, guys. It was definitely a trip we will remember.

Stioc, there's a build thread in the LC section for my truck, but I've not posted much lately. I haven't done much with it but will post an update soon.

Great trip and photos, thanks for sharing! You have a lucky Daughter and she has a very lucky Father! Keep taking those father, daughter pics. As you get a little longer in the tooth like myself, you'll be thankful you did. Those moments only happen once. 👍

Thank you...that was a great trip report to read. I have a 5yo daughter and your trip report is such a great inspiration to have an adventure like yours.
Great photos, great narration and great trip. Thank you for sharing

We crossed paths on Imogene and Ophir. Nice rig you got there and glad you are getting your daughter out for some memorable times.

Hey RockMtnFamily. I remember seeing you on Imogene. I missed you on Ophir. Good looking 80 you've got. :coffeedrink:

Ah crap... I'm away from home on a business trip and now you've got me missing my little girl even more!

Great trip, great write-up, great girl, great memories to last a lifetime!

This goes to show it doesn't matter if you have boys or girls, what matters is the time you spend with them!

I'd bet the farm that kid grows up right! You are one heck of a dad!

x2 on the sharing your experience. Having two girls myself, I hope one day that I can get my family into enjoying something like this. Maybe this'll help them see what I see in this expedition/overlanding thing.

Yes, it was....until the following evening when I rolled it.

Time for finding another rig to transfer all my stuff over to. Thankfully my 7 year old daughter was buckled in at the time and we were both able to make the drive back to camp. I am glad your trip was uneventful.

Awesome looking trip. Your daughter's a real cutie. My daughter is 15 now and thinks her horse is a lot more fun than camping with dad, but she and I camped all over when she was younger. Enjoy her while you can because you'll turn around and the next thing you know, you're giving her away at her wedding.

I read through your whole report with my 3.5 yo daughter. It got her real excited about doing a father daughter camping trip. She loved the pics of your little girl! Thank you so much! I can't wait to do a trip with her but every time I talk about it my wife wants to go too!

We ALMOST camped at that spot but it just did not have enough flat ground for 2 ground tents. The little water fall next to it was awesome. We actually walked down to it several times while we were there.

We were in our spot from Saturday to Thursday.

We did not bring our 10yo daughter, but she has made us promise to bring her next year.
