90 vs 91 Suburban

Are there any differences between a 90 GMC & 91 Chevy Suburban? I now own both with the 91 mechanically "sound", but with some body issues... How well will these two plug and play? The 90 is a GMC LE and the 91 a Chevy Scottsdale... Obviously the LE has upgraded features I thought I might steal like the rear area climate and pilot seats as the Scottsdale has bench seats plus maybe body panels to replace some cancer. The 91 has a barn door that needs body work or I could just swap doors as to looking at them they seem identical. Also, the rear glass has defrost built in.

long story short, I bought the 90 and promptly two weeks later the engine blew then I found a mechanically and pretty good 91 with a 383, good body, and documented history. The issue is that damned carb on the 91... I don't suppose I can steal the TBI off the 90 and fit it to the 383 without major modification, eh? ;-)

I suppose I'm just asking if I have twins I can harvest from? To my eye they look identical, but I have been meaning to go to the eye doctor for a while..

To my recollection they're are both pretty much the same. Its the 2500s that differ with the addition of the 4L80e trans in 91 2500s.

Just did some quick reading.....Looks like the same block, check the measurements for the heads and intake manifold. You just might be able to use it....then you need a tuner to feed the 383 the extra fuel.
