93 Bronco rehab/build

N00b here. Picked up this 93 Eddie Bauer a couple of months ago. Not wanting to go real big with it, just improve what it already is. Primary use is commuting back and forth to work, and back road excursions in the "great" state of Nebraska. I also have a 4x8 flatbed motorcycle trailer that I can pull like it's not even there. Here are some pics, I promise to add more here soon.

Very cool. I always liked those years of Broncos.
302 or 351?
Always thought it was a mistake to discontinue the Bronco in favor of the Expedition/Explorer. Lots you can do with this.

Great truck, I am a huge fan of the Bronco myself. I have a couple of them currently. Tey are , IMHO, the best platform ever built....but I could be biased.

Hopefully in a couple of years I will be able to get a PSD Excursion. I need a bigger vehicle for the family. The Bronco is definately a great truck, though. I have become the guy that people call when they need stuff towed. I've towed a Cavalier and a Trooper II with it so far, and it hasn't missed a beat. I'm trying to fix all the little stuff first before I go modding anything so I have a baseline. It does already have 33x12.5s, but they're about shot. Any recommendations for a good A/T tire in that size. I can't lift it (as per the wife unit).

Tires

I have BF Goodrich Allterrains on my D/D, and 37" Wranglers wrapped around H1 12bolts on my expo Bronco. I would definately go with the nBF Goodrichs. They are amazingly tough and clean themselves well in mud and snow.

In the Back

If you pull the plastic covers off the the rear cargo area there is a decent amount od space bcak there. The Centaurians used cargo areas back there. I runa hose reel for my air compressor from that area. I always found it fairly acomidating.

I just had the panels off my '95 and was surprised at how little space would be gained by pulling them off or building into them. I built a couple of drawers for mine which I like, but they take up a lot of space.

I ve been able to tuck quite a bit in there, I did expand them of course but they are fairly accomidating for what they are.

I went out last night and took measurements. 49" between the wheel wells, 61" past the wheel wells, wheel wells and folded back seat are 9" tall. I was thinking of an enclosure with 2 27"w x 7"t x 19"' drawers topped with a platform made from 3/4"mdf. I was also thinking about how to incorporate 2 8" or 10" subs between the wheel wells. My goal is to have the top be a sleeping platform roughly level with the back seat (when folded). I have a futon matteress that can go on top for padding. If anyone would be able to model something up, I would be grateful.
