I know everybody converts to straight axle front end, but has anyone converted to the F150 4x4 I-beam set up? It looks almost the same as the stock E150 suspension!

conceptually they are the same. pickup beams are significantly shorter than van beams tho. F250 4x4s do have equal length beams, but they are the shortest overall

Ive read of a company up in Canada, that uses TTb to convert vans to 4X4 They make them longer and change the angles. Wish I could remeber there name.

There's a reason we don't see many TTB equipped vans. They don't hold up very well, not well suited for a full size van.

I met a guy that had a f150 4x4 front end under his e150 with swayaways and he flogs the daylights out of that van. I am not a fan of those front ends because maintaining them is a pain. If you do not mind regularly going through the front end to keep it in good shape they are not a bad choice. The up side is less unsprung weight and better ride. The down side is strength. Another thing to consider is if you just want 4x4 to pull your boat up a ramp or go up your driveway in the snow or some easy task like that then ttb would not be a bad choice.
