95-99 4 door Tahoe? Question

Hey everyone. In the never ending search for a gas tank skid plate for the GMT800 trucks I stumbled on one that fit the GMT400 Tahoe that is held up by the tank straps. I was wondering if anyone with one of these trucks could get some measurements of their tank or skid plate? Mainly the distance between tank straps and the basic LxWxH of the tank itself. I would love to find one in a junkyard but the ones around me rarely have anything pre-2000s.
Thanks for the help

Dont know where you are but my LJY (deep S TX) has a BUNCH of rust free gmt400 and 800s in both tahoe and burb form. I would go get measurments for you but I havent had time to scratch my bum lately. If it fits I could pick one up but I dont know if it would be worth the shipping costs.

I would just go to a metal supply and see about getting a drop piece of 1/4 aluminum sheet big enough and cut to fit. It will be as strong as whatever the thin factory sheet metal skid plate is. Ive made a couple skids and mounting plates from some I have. Theyre 12"x 24"x1/4" so not big enough for a tank skid. It will take a bit of bend in a brake but you need to be careful not too bend to far.
