For sale is my 1995 Mitsubishi Montero SR
A great truck, but unfortunately I need to raise some cash to train a new hunting dog, so one of my toys needs to go.
It has the OME 1.25" lift kit, with the heavy duty springs in the rear. 33inch KM2's x5, factory locking center and rear diffs (which all together will take you over a lot of different terrain, and will clear a lot of obstacles), a custom offroad bumper and 12,000lb Badland winch (together worth just north of 2K). A roof mounted GoLight 2021, with a hard wired remote in the cabin, can be used as a spot or flood light, great when wheeling in the dark, this thing turns 370 deg, and can look up and down with a range of 135 deg http://www.golight.com/products/golight.html. I had the front seat bottoms, one of the side bolsters, and an arm rest reupholstered, so no tears or rips in the front or rear seats. I have the rear two flip up seats also, so it'll seat seven.
The side lower moldings and bumper all have a truck bed liner finish to help protect it when wheeling.
Mechanically it runs great, I had the two front axles replaced last year, along with the rear main seal, radiator, upper and lower ball joints, timing belt and water pump, all with less than a couple thousand miles since being fixed or replaced.
It has a Magnaflow exhaust and drop in K&N air filter. Its already wired for a HAM radio also (radio not for sale), and I'm going to leave most of the wiring so that I don't leave holes in the roof (I made a custom antenna bracket on the rear tire carrier, and will probably take the wiring from that for my next vehicle, but I'll leave the mount/bracket).
It has just over 209k miles on it, but these trucks were overbuilt from the factory, and I've been told by several mechanics that these things have a reputation for longevity.
The ONLY issue that I can think of with this truck, and one that will be fixed before its sold, is last year when I had the rear main done, the shifter for the transfer case wasn't installed correctly and it occasionally will partially engage 4hi, when in 2hi. (The problem didn't surface right away, and since it has, I haven't driven it much anyways, just in case you're wondering if I've been abusing it, I haven't, as I have a different daily driver) It's going to be fixed within the next week or two, but if I have someone interested in it right away, I can either have it fixed, or knock a few hundred off for the repair (it's not a pricey repair job).
I'm asking for 4000, and of course will entertain reasonable offers
