95 Nissan Pathfinder Tourer

This is my Budget tourer, I wanted to build a small expo vehicle, but I was on a tight budget and had six months to build it before departing on my trip, finished it with four days to spare to test everything before departing. I wanted the tried and true Toyota, but my limit was around $5000, I found this little pathfinder with 108,000 miles on it for $4300. I dropped around $2000 in basic motor service timing belt, water pump, fuel injectors, wires plugs and a little here and there stuff.

Accessories:

-Custom Tactical Armour Bumper, winch mount with Hella 500's

-ARB 2000mm Awning

-ARB Touring rack 70.5 inch mounted on Toyota 100 series ARB brackets connected to Yakima Tracks (this is something I came up with, they don't make this for a 95 Pathfinder)

-Tepui Rooftop Tent

-BFgoodrich AT 31x10.5x15 mounted on painted 95 4runner wheels, better backspacing.

and more

Any feed back or advice would be great and if you have any questions on my build ill be happy to answer them, Thanks for looking

Nice! Good to see another Pathfinder on here. How badly does the RTT affect your gas milage?

Awesome rig! I drove a 94 Pathfinder all over the mountains, deserts and swamps of North America for about 10 years. That truck never let me down, all I had was a t bar crank and some 31" muds, but it would go just about anywhere I pointed it. Slept many nights in the back, and enjoyed many cups of coffee from the back while watching the sun rise over the mountains. Great memories. I'd still be driving it, but it met an untimely death due to a very large mule deer. Your bumper looks stout!

Great looking rig. I've always been a Toyota fan, but the price on them is so over-inflated in the Northwest. I have a lot of esteem for Nissans and hadn't really considered building up a Pathfinder until recently. I really like the Yota rims on yours. They really make the rig look sharp...and I love the rack setup you've come up with.

Feel free to post more pictures when you get the chance!

Update

Its been about one month of travel, three months play, two months work and close to 10,0000 miles since shipping it to Kauai, Hawaii. I have had no issues with my truck or with any of my equipment from ARB and Tupui Tents. Its hard to believe only one blown tire and no mechanical issues in six months of touring Colorado to Hawaii. I have never owned a Nissan, but I am stoked that I do. The front suspension is a little weak but over all has preformed well on and off road. I have been getting 15-16mpg full loaded for touring and 20-21mpg no gear on highway (given our fastest speed limit is 50mph), running 35psi, minus for off road and sand . No recent modifications, over all the truck has a 1.5in lift, but am considering a 2inch body lift to run a little bigger tire with out losing ride quality.pictures 035.jpgpictures 031.jpgpictures 025.jpg046.jpg065.jpg

And about the rims yes they are from a 95 Toyota 4runner, 15x7 with 3.75 backspacing, my Nissan had the rims you are talking about those are 15x7 with almost 5 inches of backspacing.
