I was quite surprised by how much the rear end had been affecting the ride quality. It is soooo much smoother now.
And the rad support is back in... hopefully it will never break again. If it ever breaks again, I'll be tracking down a newer one. Problem is that diesel rigs don't end up at the wreckers here... and I don't know if the rad support would be the same for a gaser.

Fuel Leak
Went for a drive and started smelling diesel. By the time I got home I had a puddle.
Looking under the hood and I see a pulsating spray at the left front corner of the engine. It's been about 2 years since I rebuilt the Fuel bowl, and until today, there have been no leaks. It's not high enough pressure to be coming from an injector. It's more of a lower pressure splatter.
Thoughts? Ideas? 12-96 7.3 Power stroke. And to make matters worse, a peace officer gave me a piece of paper saying it can't go on the road till it's inspected and passed.

The Officer was just doing their job... Can't have trucks driving around pumping out Fuel on the ground. The Vehicle Inspection part is a pain I could do without.
The small valve in the centre of the picture that looks like you could fit a tire valve cover on it is the problem. Trying to figure what it is so I can get the part to fix it.

looks like its a fuel pressure test port, or possibly a fuel cavitation bleed port, and the schrader valve is bad.

Valve core is 100% gone.
2.72 + taxes, locally, for a new one.

I'd highly recommend preventative replacement... You'll loose more $ in fuel before you realize what's happening than $ for the part. My regret is that I didn't replace it when I rebuilt the fuel bowl and had it out of the rig

The 1/8" MNPT / Shrader Valve Fitting. Could of just replaced the core, but it's easier to replace the whole piece.
Also had to have a full safety inspection. No surprises, just the broken leaf I already had arranged with the spring shop to fix.
