Installed the Happijac mount system I picked up off Marketplace. I like this system for the lighter campers, it hides pretty well when not in use. I didn't have the bar that goes across, seems pretty sturdy as it is.

Got the windows resealed with butyl tape and re-installed, still need to seal them around the edges. I'll seal everything at one time when I'm at that point. The propane door was split so I fixed it. At this point I'm just trying to knock out as many projects as possible on the limited days I have to work on it, so it might not be the prettiest camper out there, lol!

Got the Northstar loaded and moved out of the shop. It fits perfectly. The Happijac system works well. Everything functions as it should (except water) I probably will reinstall the water tank but for now I just use a 5 gal jug. Planning on a few weekend trips to get it all set up how I like. But for the most part it turned out pretty nice.

Very nice. Was the canvas install difficult? I am looking to replace my 2008 with a new one with the thermal insulation. What would you estimate the time to replace?
The hardest part is squeezing between the roof sides and canvas to remove what seems like a thousand screws. If you can get help that would be a lot faster. Also make sure its lining up evenly at all four corners and the sides before just going to town on the install.

I installed a single 100w solar panel from renogy. I may add another but I wanted to see how 100w did first and I didn't have the mounts for the second panel yet. The controller mounted inside the cabinet below the battery and the cables were the perfect length (I cleaned up what is shown in the pic).
Loaded up the Land Cruiser and camped one night to see how everything works before heading across Oregon on my trip with my son and our dogs. So far everything was good.

Her maiden voyage! After restoring the 1997 Northstar TC650 we towed the old Toyota Land Cruiser over to eastern Oregon for a camper shake down. It worked great! The 100w solar panel kept up with enough juice for everything. The fridge ran off propane all weekend. It never got cold enough for the heater, but we ran it and it worked well.
