Well, where do I start.
Maybe a bit of background on myself. I'm originally from Eastern Townships (Sutton) QC, moved to North Vancouver in high school and ended up in Calgary in 2005. I grew up on a farm playing with 350 acres of land and a bunch of toys. If it has an engine and wheels, sign me up!
I've been mostly a Honda and BMW guy most of my driving life. Used to attend countless track days every summer and auto X events whenever I could. When the wife and I decided to upgrade from our townhouse to a house after the second child was on the way, it was decided (without my opinion) that it was time to get rid of the 2003 BMW 530i we had in order to put a bigger chunk of cash on the newly purchased house. After days of looking for a new daily driver, I stumbled across a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder SE. Having modified cars all my life, I quickly got bored of the sagged suspension and got to work on getting some upgrades. Went offroading for the first time in an SUV. Loved it.
Fast forward 4 years and 3 Jeeps later (XJ, ZJ and WJ), I finally decided to get another Pathfinder after looking at many overpriced 4Runners.
I purchased my 1997 Pathfinder SE in July 2012. It was in much better shape than most of the ones I looked at and it was my favorite color: GREEN.
I wasted no time and started ordering parts for it in August after completing the basic maintenance items. Here's a list of the things done so far:
-Drive Belts
-Starter
-Drivetrain fluids
-Front lower control arms
-Lower balljoints
-Rear lower trailing arms
-Rear upper trailing arms
-New NGK plugs and wires
-OEM strut mounts and bearings
-GMB serviceable U-joints in front and rear driveshafts
-OEM CV axles
-Sway bar links and bushings
In terms of aftermarket parts:
-KYB Excel G struts and shocks
-Old Man Emu HD front and MD rear springs
-Kenwood 7190HD Navigation DVD Sirius double din unit
-BFGoodrich TA/KO 31inch tires
-Reese Class 4 Hitch
-Warn receiver shakles
-TJM Snatch strap
-Trailheads tire deflators (in transit)
-ARB CKMA12 High Output compresor (in transit) with hose kit and tire inflation kit
-Rigid Dually Amber flood pattern LED lights
-Maximum booster pack
-Safari D22 Navarra Diesel snorkel (pending install)
-AVS window visors
-LED interior dome lights
My plan is to build a capable all around vehicle that can drive to work, to the ski hill, go camping, take road trips and offroading. I'm planning on taking it across the country in the near future.
Future plans include:
-Metal front bumper (Modified ARB Frontier bumper or Calmini Frontier bumper)
-Skid plates
-Sliders
-Front and rear LSD diffs or ARB lockers (depending on budget)
-More lights
-Foam for rear sleeping pad
-16 inch wheel with 32inch tires
-Complete exhaust system
-Upgraded brakes
On with some pictures.
The day I got it:

Trip to Whistler
Second trail run...still all stock
Third trail runs...stock and stuck
