I have owned this truck since new. It was my work truck and has been well maintained mechanically. It has 180K miles and runs great. The aluminum flat bed was installed last year as I had intended to put a camper on and do some travelling but plans changed and it makes no sense for me to keep it any longer.
The good;
7.3 TD runs great.
All mechanics in good shape. (engine, Automatic trans , brakes , 4x4 new manual hubs, etc )
Aluminum flatbed 8' with tool box basically like new,
Tires - 2 new, 2 VG, and spare
HD suspension with extra leaf springs - Will handle a lot of weight
Front end- I just had steering box/idler arm/tie rod ends etc replaced

The bad,
Was used as a work truck and as such it has a number of dings and the interior could use some TLC- Nothing horrible but if you have ever worked contruction and hauled employees and supplies around for years you know what I mean.

I have lowered the price to $7,500 Which I think is reasonable considering the overall condition. If it were a garage queen it would probably sell for twice that. Truck is located in Baltimore MD. I will be here until May 28 and then leaving country for 6 months. I would like to sell it beforehand but am not desperate.

My intention for the truck was to mount a "slide in" type camper but I think it would be a great platform for a modular/removable custom built unit

Hi Jim. Nice truck!

Can you post more pictures please? Interior, etc.

Manual tcase? Vinyl?

Just curious trim levels. The less the better!

Manual transfer case and hubs. Hubs replaced within the last couple thousand miles.
Trim level basic (XL maybe?)......manual windows etc. Auto trans rebuilt a few years ago and shifts fine. A/C works .
Seats were originally a woven cloth but have neoprene seat covers.
I'll try to get out and take some pictures of the interior.
An employee drove it the last couple years and he was a smoker.

As the above pictures show it could benefit from some new seat covers and some elbow grease with cleaning materials.
There is very little in the way of rust btw
I took it out for a drive yesterday and with the exception of a little hop due to carrying no weight on bed it is running and handling very nicely.
I am sure that a local construction co would buy this truck but I thought that I would list it here because I think it would make a great expedition platform.

Here are some pics of underbody. Just surface rust and nothing of any consequence that I could find. Please note rear leaf springs are very beefy as well as the new tie rod ends/ idler arm and steering box on front end and new shocks. I spent a lot of money on this truck thinking that I would be travelling for an extended period of time in it. The aluminum flat bed was close to 4K alone.
