99 Trek Discovery

Hey Guys,

I spend most of my time over on the Mitsubishi forum (I'm a Pajero guy). Oddly enough this is going to be my first post on Expedition Portal. I stumbled across this Trek Discovery in my backyard http://www.calgaryautoquest.ca/used/Land%20Rover/1999-Land+Rover-Discovery-868ec0d5404638125fc4f63f6ecac7d8.htm I was wondering if anyone has any info on these Trek editions. I really don't need another vehicle but this intrigues me.

What things should I be looking out for as I know these disco's have their known problems just like my beloved Mitsu's.

thats a $4K truck.

Trek was a competition for LR dealers. it has orange paint, and the interior colors. No other differences than any other D2 Base model. Plus that one has the wrong wheels and totally wrong lugnuts for the wheels it has.

There are a few items either swapped (winch/tires/wheels) or missing from a proper Trek Disco.
