A Frame Pop Up Campers: Best Mods

I just picked up a 2006 Chalet, and I'm planning to build it up a little. What are some of the most common upgrades on these? I'm thinking about:

1. Exterior repaint, make it look less 90s
2. Coating chassis in POR15
3. Adding extra insulation under the floor, and smoothing out bottom of trailer for better aero/hold insulation in.
4. Adding solar
5. Adding extra insulation near roof joints, but aesthetically somehow.

What are people doing to these things?

A rod going across between the side walls to prevent them from blowing in in the wind.

Two straps going front to back over the roof panels to prevent them from blowing open in the wind during setup, takedown and in use.

My side walls have big latch levers that lock into the roof, is a rod still necessary?

Tryign to find pics of the roof straps, I know the previous owner said that was an issue.

It's cheap insurance. The latches can and have failed.

I had a Classic (sold it for a Patriot Campers X3) and I would suggest you join the FB groups for A-frame trailers. Some mods off the bat:
Add a bar running the width of the camper through the springs to prevent them rotating
Replace all screws with something stronger and more secure (rivets where possible) as they rattle out when going down the road
Zamp is wired opposite from everything else solar out there, so keep that in mind. I just had panels that I put out on the ground when set up and inside during transport.
Swap out the mattress for something better or add sleeping pads under it.
Insulation under would be a good thing, just keep access to all the bits under the camper
