My kit gun is a stainless S&W 651. It is a small, 6 shot revolver and comes with interchangeable cylinders for .22 LR and .22 Magnum cartridges. Stainless is very appealing for a gun intended for camping and travel duty.

I have owned) and still own automatics, but don't like to leave empty brass lying on the ground. The revolver avoids this minor problem, and is also much more reliable.

This is a very valid point you make Mike, Thanks for the reminder of leftover brass, I spent 30 minutes picking up our brass the other day from our last outing.
