A little boredom and black paint

I'm new to the site..
Once again bro, Very, Very Nice Rig!
My colorado is victory red & to help tone it down a bit, I'm approaching it the
same way by de-chroming the glary, reflective/ shiney pieces.
I want more of a "Mil-Spec" effect as well.

Well first off Welcome! I love the Colorado and have seen some great ones on here so far. I would love to see some pics of your colorado with the chrome parts black. Are you going to go black with the rims as well?

Just a quick idea about those badges. What I've done on a number of cars, is remove the chrome badges, then take them to a vinyl shop and have them copy them and print them out in vinyl. A colour like say, just black, or a white, or some contrasting colour, whatever you want. Then stick those on in the place of the originals. It really changes the look while still retaining the car's identity.
