A little confused!

After long research and deliberation in regards to tire size I have come to a cross roads. I have been restoring my 95 classic with a few mods, after all electrical repairs, air bag conversion, lift, paint etc etc it was time for new shoes. I read and read on virtually every LR forum and made a decision 265/75/16 BFG at. Well now that they are on, I love the look, I love the ride and HATE the rub. So I am confussed, every where / every one writes that 265/75/16 don't or didn't rub, but they do! I am considering toddco spacers (can u just run them up front) I'm, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and definitely needed!?.

Also, not to sound like a moron, they are rubbing on the chasis not the wheel arches! & I know I should have gone w/ 235/85/16 but they are hard to come by in Memphis for some reason!

I must say this a hundred times each week "All tire manufactures lie about the tire size"
Not all tires listed at the same size will measure the same size.

If they're rubbing on the chassis with turing, have you adjusted your steering stops? Or is it during articulation?

You do give up some turning radius. Adjust the steering stops and it will be fine (or at least as fine as a d90).
