This is very useful, thank you. We have a Jayco 154 bh right now and the front bed is convertible from a dinette to the bed my wife and I sleep in. We don't use the dinette and keep it as a bed full time, so I can relate. If a lot of people feel this way, this may not be something people would buy. I appreciate the feedback. I should also clarify that the bed situation, since it's open up front like a teardrop, it could certainly be a permanent bed, and the mattress could be the kind you can fold into 2 seats if you want, or you could simply leave it as a bed, much like many of the teardrops out there.I'll add, from the years of overland camping and talking to a lot of people, plus reading/watching videos of a LOT of camper/trailer builds, one of the biggest things people regret is not having a permanent bed setup. Having to setup and take down bed daily, gets tiring very quickly. This is why teardrops work, as they are always "up". Sure it sounds like not that big of a deal until you're doing it. Just something to think about.
