Pretty much the exact same stuff I did on mine when I bought it... Although I've neglected to look into my timing chain

Oh.. and the owner could have easily shaved 25% off the price of the "repairs" (which I believe is a poor choice of words. There were no repairs in the article, per se, just maintenance) by buying better... Didn't need Brillstein's and the timing kit can be purchased for far less.

While it reads like a negative article, the owner stole that truck.

one thing I didn't see mentioned is checking the lower ball joints. There was a factory recall on the lower ball joints. I have 2003 tacoma also. it had the recall done at 23,000 miles and now at 116,000 I had to have them replaced before I could get it aligned. From what I have seen on tacomaworld.com forums the lower ball joints for the 1st gen tacomas are not long lived. Its also recommended to replace with OEM.
