Trip Update
So I finally got around to updating this thread...
First off, thanks to all who provided advice and suggestions. I must say the 'warnings' on how unpredictable the weather can be in this area is to say the very least--very true. From cloudy skies and 40 mph wind gust (Glacier NP, Bowman Lake) to sunny and 65 degrees (Yellowstone River in between Livingston and Garnier MT) to 6'' of powder in a borderline blizzard (Jackson WY).
Although cramped for time, the trip was a blast and I could not have asked for anything more (except more time?). We camped in the back of my taco every night and honestly, it never got old. Speaking of camping--here is what I worked on the three days leading up to the trip..
