After recently purchasing my used 2008 Taco from a good friend, I've decided to sell the AT FlipPac that came with the truck. It was purchased and installed new at the A/T dealer in Prescott, AZ in January of 2012 by the previous owner of the truck. The FlipPac fits “mini trucks”- this one fits a 6’ bed (76” to fit flush on top of bed). The shell is equipped with sliding cab, rear, and side windows and an interior light.
This camper shell is perfect for anyone looking to go on an expedition style outing or hunting trip, an extended road-trip, or simply for a comfortable weekend getaway! The shell flips open, extending the length of the entire truck and the tent pops up automatically. A twin sized mattress sits above the cab of the truck surrounded by six zip away windows.
Overall, the FlipPAc is in fantastic condition. I will disclose that there are chips in the silver paint on the rise that extends over the cab behind the pivot bar. I suspect this was the result of high speed highway projectiles (bugs). Additionally, there are some minor water stains at the corners of the tent and one 7mm sized hole in the screen of one of the side windows. The fabric of the tent is in great condition and the mattress doesn’t appear to have ever been used.
For the model and specifications, this shell sells brand new for around $6k from http://www.adventuretrailers.com/flippac.html). I am asking $4k for this less than a year old A/T FlipPack. I will negotiate based on located or lost keys for window lock, the distance of delivery, and overall convenience. Cash on pick-up or delivery only. I will deliver to you if you are in the SoCal region or you can pick up near Palm Springs. I may be able to plan a longer delivery if costs are reimbursed.
