A-TRAC in action

That video does not show much. Looks like 100 series driver was less experienced. He seemed much more tentative about the first obstacle and bypassed the second. Also, looks like he entered rock garden in 4 high with center diff unlocked.

For what its worth, I've done that obstacle dozens of times. Its pretty tame.

Yeah, that was me.

Tentative is a good word for it. I have broken a 100 front diff before on a 99 model and I had my two little girls with me.

I entered in 4 low with center diff locked. The bfg ATs have over 40k miles on them and I should have aired down more.

I had never experienced A-TRAC before. It was great but takes some getting use to.

It was alot of fun and a great learning experience. I have better understanding of what to do next time, not let off the throttle and let A-TRAC do it's thing.

Very good. UNF is a great place to learn capabilities of your vehicle. I would love to schedule a land cruiser run. The isuzu and mitsu run in april and oct is an open run that has a lot of similar wheel base vehicles.
