AC adapter for Dometic frig ?

Dometic wants $88 + $25 shipping for their AC adapter to power my CDF - 11 frig. Seems like a lot.

Has anyone found and successfully used an AC adapter that costs less?

If you are talking about the AC cord with male and female connectors, I think they are pretty generic. Take a pic of the AC jack on the fridge and go to your local computer store. You'll have a good chance of finding one that fits.

If I understand things correctly they operate better on 24cv than 12v. Are you looking for a 12 or 24v converter?

The CFX fridges have a separate AC jack on the fridge. It appears to use a computer cord end like this :
($2 at Goodwill) Tried it and it works.
