Adding side windows to 2000 Ford e350 cargo van

I have a 2000 Ford e350 cargo van and want to add some windows to it. I want to add a window to the driver side '2nd row' area and the passenger side barn doors.

I've seen several videos that walk through the process but still have a few questions:

1. It seems most builders get rv style windows. Is there a recommended manufacturer?

2. For the passenger size cargo doors, my van doesn't have windows but some OEM versions do...can I get OEM style windows for the doors, either new or from a junkyard or are the non-window doors too different? If I can't use OEM style windows, what is a good source for similar windows? Or should I try to get RV style windows for these doors too, to match the driver side?

My initial thought was RV style window on the driver side and something close to factory issue on the passenger cargo door side (one for each door), but perhaps popout versions.

Any advice?

1: crl is one of the very few options available. They are kinda funky looking too imho. They are close but not exact. Far enough off that I couldn’t live it, but I’m anal about stuff like that.

2: can’t put oem windows in doors that didn’t come from the factory that way without serious fab work and repaint.

what color is your van? hard to tell if it’s silver or white on my phone. if it’s white, go to salvage yard and just replace the doors with whatever one closest matches your paint. white vans are freaking everywhere.

edit: for drivers side look at crl window VW21601L. It’s the closest you’ll get to an oem looking window and they fit incredibly well in the spot where the oem window would go. member 1der can get better pricing then anywhere else I could find.

not the best pic, but only one I have on my phone atm. hth...

No idea where you'll located, but the OEM wide doors with windows are different. I don't think you'd just be able to cut the current doors and put in the OEM windows. I agree with shenrie if your van is white you're kinda in luck. Just go to a pick a part junk yard and pull a set.

If you want rear side windows, I have a pair I pulled from a van for sale. If you happen to be in the Los Angeles area it would be easiest to pick them up as they would be $$ to ship.

thanks guys. My van is unpainted; that is just the primer coat, like a light grey. It used to be dark blue, but I just finished the body work and am waiting on a few other modifications before a final paint job. I'll see what I can find in the junkyards.

I saw references to that crl window and agree it looks like a good option, but it appears they don't make them anymore, or they are very hard to source now.

primer van? Perfect. Just go grab a set. Those things are all over the place here. Only real difference I’ve seen in the doors are the style of hinges. Other than that you got your pick of any of them since your already primered up. Try to find the popout windows if you can too. Typically in the older vans.

Hit up member 1der of this and the smb forum. He’s a distributor for crl and had the best price I could find when I was looking. Crl does suck that way. Always discontinuing product. these guys seem to be a good resource as well:

I just picked up a set of 60/40 oem popout windows I’ll be listing here soon. Kinda hard to find depending on where your located.
