I'd never seen this one from Featherlite (1609 mod pod), it's really got my mind racing. You can get it in a 5' tall (closed) and 5x10 floor size. Opened up it should easily be 6.5' at the back, plust the door area, and just put the bed/dinet combo at the front so you don't need more than 5'. When in transit, it could fit a cycle or 4-wheeler. Thanks for this thread. A little pricey at about $6k before mods though. If you built some protection on the sides to carry some gear, and hung a kitchen box and awning on the side, it would be pretty awesome.
I love the LVL camper camper behind the Jeep, but the height just looks funny, and doesn't seem like it would work well off road. Not to mention the price of those.

cheap, but not sure if that is enough room for all your toys, and if your perfer the toys enclosed.
the idea of a small cargo trailer with a RTT on top might be a great comproise for your needs, and verisatile since you can sepearte them.

I love this idea! I too have seen the cargo trailer conversions over on the tear drop forum, but they don't leave much room inside if you still have your toy in there with you. When I looked closely at DesertJK's photos, I noticed the brand name on the toy hauler. Took a stab on Google, and came up with www.vrvtoyhauler.com.
Pretty impressive construction quality. They state on here that the interior height is 6'7". I think that strikes a happy medium for riding a toy inside, dismounting, and walking around without feeling claustrophobic. I for one would love to see more pics of the interior of that trailer.
