AEV is coming to Texas

Hello, everyone.

This is Dave Yegge from AEV. I'm the guy that will be in Texas soon.
I'd like to get together with who ever is willing and able on Wednesday the 17th. I will be in the Fort Worth area, specifically Bedford that afternoon and evening. If anyone from the area has a recommended meeting location I'm all ears.

Let me know what everyone thinks and we'll formulate a plan by Monday afternoon.

Sent you an email reply earlier today, but I fired off an email to the webmaster at Lone Star Jeep Club asking/polling for interest. I expected a reply by now.

Still working on it. Going to see if anyone of the local group here will want to convoy down with me. I will either email or call you once I make some progress.

Wonder if there are any LSJC members here?

I joined the website a while back but am not a member. I sent an email through the contact area of the website but no replies. I was going to post something up till I saw they seem pretty loyal to sponsors of the site. I was not sure if they would think I was an AEV employee or something which would just put a negative spin on everything.

If you happen to speak to anyone, I would appreciate you letting me know. I don't work for AEV but I have become friends with a couple of the guys as we are working on a project together. I am just trying to help out since I am in Texas.

"Dave Yegge had to have an emergency appendectomy on Monday night. His trip to Texas has been temporarily canceled. Could you please put the word out to any individuals who were planning to meet with him? Dave will try to reschedule at a later date. He is doing fine."

Hey Phil, thanks for posting. I was just about to post it when I saw your post. Hopefully Dave will be fine and can reschedule soon.

On another note, I'm sorry I haven't called you back yet but will do so before week's end. I promise.
