The white Brute. I'll take it. Now I just need to figure out a decent Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for it :)

That one is pretty special...that is the very first Brute Double Cab that we ever built and debuted at the 2011 SEMA Show. It has been featured on the TV show Top Gear USA and the Sportsman Channel mini series Border to Border. Additionally, it has been seen in a ton of magazines and websites (incl. Expedition Portal). Probably the most publicized vehicle we have built to date. A true piece of AEV history right there.

The first one pictured is also very rare.

It's got a 6.4L Hemi with a manual trans, an option AEV never released (as far as I know)

Do want, very much.

Oh I fully understand what that vehicle is. Sadly, I am not your target demographic. Champagne taste and beer budget. Actually, more like a water only budget :)

Thanks for informing me of the rules. Interestingly enough, this morning I am using 2 VPNs to get to out from behind China's Firewall in order to check e-mails, facebook and this board so I am very much used to navigating a world where commentary is restricted.

I apologize about the comment regarding pricing of depreciated assets and the off topic comment about Kim Kardashian's ***. Please accept I would never bag on another individual member's sales price. My failure was to consider both that companies are also not fair game for commentary either and that AEV is a also a sponsor, so I am doubly sorry. GLWS AEV. Your products are really awesome. Thanks for allowing me to continue to participate in Expedition Portal.

Pricing

I appreciate member feedback about price -- it helps the less experienced users learn about the vehicles or at least give them ideas to consider. On that note, Bringatrailer.com does a great job giving positive and negative feedback (technical and non-technical) for a potential buyer, all of which serves to make it a little safer buying experience.
For users who post feedback on price without any information to back it up, maybe suggesting that they add this information would make more sense.

Yes, that is one of my personal favorites. We began offering the HEMI V8/Manual Trans option to the public a few years ago, however availability is often dictated by the availability of the Getrag 238 transmission - sometimes it is literally MONTHS before we are able to secure one and often need to import them from Europe. Its a great transmission for this application but a serious PITA to find.

I agree. I have never understood why constructive comments on price is disallowed. It seems like the purpose of these forums is to inform and discuss in all matters except when buying and selling. Buying and selling seems to bring all the negatives of a real world car dealership, to the on-line world.

Thanks for the info, I had no idea the manual option with the HEMI was available to the public.

We just put a very low mileage 2014 2-Door Rubicon up for sale. This Jeep was used primarily as a Marketing vehicle and only has 10,xxx miles on the odometer.

You can view the complete vehicle listing on our forum here: http://forum.aev-conversions.com/showthread.php?t=11292

This vehicle is currently located at our Commerce Township, MI office but we can ship anywhere in the USA.
